K9 Explosive and Stowaways Detection
I.M.I. Canine Teams include a highly trained detection dog and handler.
These teams conduct searches for:
• detect a variety of explosive materials inside ship and port facility, near building exteriors, parking lots, office areas, vehicles, packages, and people in and around. They also provide a strong visible and psychological deterrent against criminal and terrorist threats;
• detect stowaways. Our trained dog teams board approximately 3 hrs before departure, conduct a search and then guard the vessel. All searches are guaranteed by our Security Multi Risk Liability Insurance underwritten by Lloyds. A copy of our current certificate can be obtained if required.
